About Meredith
Hello, fellow lovers of earth and sky, sea and song. This is your captain, Meredith. Thanks for visiting. Pull up a comfy chair and prepare for some down and dirty, brutally raw and honest, and occasionally humorous introspection and musings on my adventures in the air. Fasten your seat belt, open your mind, and prepare for takeoff.
Why do I fly? I fell in love with aviation as a child, watching my father take flying lessons. My aviation adventure began in 2001 at the Montgomery County Airport in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Since then, I have enjoyed sharing my passion for flight with family members, friends, co-workers, and students.
For more information on how I can help you earn your wings – or sharpen your already hard-earned flying skills – visit the Aviation Services page.
As a professional pilot, I consider it a top priority to educate the general public about aviation and to be an active participant in the greater airport community. I am a member of The Ninety Nines, the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and currently serve as president of the Montgomery County Airport Association.
